Who am I?

A question that is only asked to ourselves and mainly in times of despair, but this is also a question that can motivate you to become something better. Many people try to define themselves through other people friends or family and even their jobs. But through life there are many trials we face and we discover new things about ourselves. Other times different events can happen that change you and that change can either be bad or good and we often see ourselves through how other people perceive us. We don't have to let fear of what people think of us control our lives and choices though.

We all have different personalities that make us who we are, we have life experience we face that give us knowledge and wisdom we are forever discovering new things about ourselves, how strong we can really be.
When asked the question who am I, I would find myself going to a mirror and see my physical appearance for who I am, but that isn't the full depth of who a person is, there is so much more, what is underneath, mind, heart, etc. The mind is calculative and thinks through various situations, it tells you what to do and is the control of your actions, the heart can feel emotions deeply when your in love or sad and angry or even excited.

The real truth is there is so much more to a person than what you see, nobody can know what a person is feeling or thinking about in any particular moment.
But when we ask ourselves who am I, why are we asking the question? Is it because we are confused about what to do next in life, or that we are stuck.  Any scenario can cause that question to be asked, but if we don't know what to do next  and we find ourselves asking that question just look through life experiences, find encouragement through all the trials you have come overcome, see yourself as God sees you.  You are who God says you are, not what the people of the world say you are!

the same can be said for what to do next, we can sometimes overthink things and that can cause stress and anxiety to take hold of your mind, but if you just see yourself and ask who am I realise that you are so much more than what is in front of you.

Our lives are our story, everything we do is a new adventure in our life, there are twists, turns, trials, suprises, sadness, happiness.

You hear, but do you listen?

Admittedly every once in a while we can be hearing what someone's saying but actually not really taking it to heart, for various reason...
